NAB Statement on Introduction of Legislation Regarding Appointment of Register of Copyrights

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to last night’s introduction in the House of Representatives of the Register of Copyrights Selection and Accountability Act of 2017, a bill to amend the appointment of future Registers of Copyrights and limit the Register position to a 10-year term, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:
